Colin turns 1!

(I'm back -- had been sticking with FB and G+ but thinking I should post more often now, so it's better to overshare here than there.)

Our baby boy is fast on his way to being simply a boy. Standing by himself up to 10 seconds at a time, climbing, cruising ... Walking can't be far away now.

We've been lucky to have so many family and friends around this month to help us celebrate.

More to come! 12mo peds visit is Friday, we'll get height and weight.

Sitting up a lot

This boy loves to stand in his bouncy seat but he's recently gotten really into sitting up and playing piano too. No crawling yet.

6mo doctor visit, new height and weight

16lbs 8oz and 25 3/4".

A few shots today too, incl flu.

So many babies in the ped office today, and he was one of the bigger/older ones. It's so cliche but the speed of baby life really is unnerving.

Separation anxiety

Noticing it in him today like never before -- very sad crying if I leave the room where he's bouncing. Let's see where this goes.

Teething

No fun. No teeth yet, either

5 months today

Way behind on posting, sorry! Plan to catch up after Christmas -- lots of pics and little updates to share.

The boy is five months old today, and I think this past month went faster than any of the rest. Suffice it to say for now he's getting more rolly, laughy, chatty and fatty.
